Minister Linell Davis
To God be the glory for all
the things He has done. Min. Linell Davis knows that out of
all the medals won, all the awards, scholarships, letters of
recognition, had it not been for the Lord none of it would
have been possible.
She graduated, Dunbar High School ranking third in her
graduating class. She was awarded a B.A. degree in vocal music
with a minor in education.
Min. Davis left Texas and moved to New York City after
graduation where she continued her vocal studies. She
performed several concerts in the New York and New Jersey
areas. She enjoyed the best of what New York offered for
twenty-one years, and realized that through it all the Spirit
of the Lord has always been with her. She accepted her call to
the ministry and preached her first sermon in May 2001.
She has a love for God's people and God has given her empathy
for their suffering. She is pursuing her Masters in Christian
Counseling.
Min. Davis is married to John H. Davis, Jr., a native New
Yorker, and they are blessed to have two wonderful children,
Andrew C. and Monica L. Davis, and a lovely granddaughter,
Adrianne Davis (Andrew and Patrice's daughter).
She thanks God for the good times, she embraces the trials and
tribulations that come her way for they only make her stronger
in the Lord. Again, to God be the glory for the things He has
done and is still doing.
